The hotel was a nice quiet place but close enough to eating places and to the city Drogheda.

Very good choice of breakfast both continental and full Irish. Room was large and bed huge and very comfortable. Staff very polite and helpful. Lovely gardens and the adjacent spa was wonderful very hot sauna and steam room and generous pool with in pool jacuzzi. It was an excellent base for visiting Newgrange. The traffic in Drogheda was the only downside and the town itself a bit shabby.

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION, SUPERB FACILITIES, HELPFUL STAFF, VERY HAPPY WITH OUR STAY

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Pool lovely and clean. Breakfast good. Bed comfy. But some of the other facilities were lacking quality, for example the superior room's curtains were hanging off one side. There was no coffee (only decaf) and no tea bags (but which were provided on request). The bar is very scruffy and the toilets off the main reception had a horrendous smell. But the potential is huge. Lovely old building and beautiful grounds. I hope the ongoing renovation works get this hotel back up to the quality it ought to be.

It was a brief 1 night stay but very memorable. The atmosphere and the environment was great. The interior of the hotel is very impressive. The breakfast was good. Nothing to complain about altogether. I will surely be back.

Staff were fabulous, room was very comfortable, enjoyed my stay. Only reason for not giving a 5 full rating was the lack of a restaurant.

We loved our stay! We were just sorry we were only had one night there. Our room was great, the hotel was beautiful, and we particularly loved our breakfast in the morning! Thank you to the staff for the great food and service. We'll stay longer next time.

Staff were very helpful, polite and kind. The hotel and the surrounding property were very nice and the room was amazing.

Wonderful location. Bath needs make up. Bathtub with shower is not easy to handle for older people. Breakfast was good. Information at the warm dishes that eggs can be ordered at the table would be helpful. We we looking for the eggs. Bacon and beans were cold by the time the poached eggs arrived.

The directions to the hotel are super easy, the receptionist was so friendly, the room was very clean and cosy. The breakfast is delicious and girls tha are working were soo friendly.

It was our second time staying at The Boyne Valley and we really love its location . The staff at reception were exceptional abd the breakfast was really nice. Thank you and Tom and I will be coming back again soon.

While the Hotel itself is very clean and the rooms are perfect, it is a great pity that there is no food available, only breakfast. Perhaps if snacks were available in the room or even a vending machine. Even Bar food, sandwiches or the like.

Easy to book and make payment. Receptionists very friendly and clear on information ie. breakfast times etc. Lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings.

I love staying at this hotel. The grounds and building are quite beautiful and the recently refurbished rooms are spacious and confortable. The level of service is excellent and achieves a perfect balance of being there when you need them to giving you the space and freedom to enjoy your visit.

You really need to reopen the restaurant. Hotel looks great, gardens look great. Its not really a hotel if it does not have a restaurant in the evenings.

Perfect stay

Everything was absolutely perfect! Went for a little solo break and had the most relaxing and amazing time. Stunning views, great location for morning walks and I loved the relaxing and quiet atmosphere. The leisure club was superb, as well.

We stayed a few days. The staff were very friendly. Rooms were very clean. Fresh towels, tea,coffee ect filled daily. Beds, pillows very comfy. Continental breakfast is very nice. We also used the gym and pool,steam room etc. Great value. We will definitely stay again.
