Very nice room with a view of the beautiful garden out back. Very quiet as it is out of the way of the busy city. Lots of free parking. Breakfast was great.

Beautiful grounds close to town yet quiet. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Abundant breakfast with friendly staff. No restaurant, unfortunately, but it’s only a ten minutes walk into town. The road is not lit, though, so bring your safety vest.

I was very happy with my stay at Boyne Valley Hotel. The reception staff were really helpful, the room was light, airy and comfortable while the breakfast was ideal. Can't find any faults at all. So much so, I have already booked two more stays when I'm over in Ireland.

Beautiful grounds, friendly staff. I wish there was air conditioning or fans in the room. No refrigerator.

Enjoyed my stay at the hotel immensely. Nice and quiet with Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Lovely pool and leisure facilities. Would recommend and will be back.

We stayed one night in Deluxe double room. The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast next morning was good with plenty of choice. The hotel itself is set on lovely parkland grounds. Pity the leisure centre is detached from the hotel.

Great stay

Room was clean and a good size, pool was very good, breakfast was good. All staff were very friendly and the night porter on our last night was great.

Lovely staff, very nice and comfortable room and very accommodating the next morning when I had to leave before 7am, the official starting time for breakfast. Thank you.

The hotel was a nice quiet place but close enough to eating places and to the city Drogheda.

Very good choice of breakfast both continental and full Irish. Room was large and bed huge and very comfortable. Staff very polite and helpful. Lovely gardens and the adjacent spa was wonderful very hot sauna and steam room and generous pool with in pool jacuzzi. It was an excellent base for visiting Newgrange. The traffic in Drogheda was the only downside and the town itself a bit shabby.

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION, SUPERB FACILITIES, HELPFUL STAFF, VERY HAPPY WITH OUR STAY

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Pool lovely and clean. Breakfast good. Bed comfy. But some of the other facilities were lacking quality, for example the superior room's curtains were hanging off one side. There was no coffee (only decaf) and no tea bags (but which were provided on request). The bar is very scruffy and the toilets off the main reception had a horrendous smell. But the potential is huge. Lovely old building and beautiful grounds. I hope the ongoing renovation works get this hotel back up to the quality it ought to be.

It was a brief 1 night stay but very memorable. The atmosphere and the environment was great. The interior of the hotel is very impressive. The breakfast was good. Nothing to complain about altogether. I will surely be back.

Staff were fabulous, room was very comfortable, enjoyed my stay. Only reason for not giving a 5 full rating was the lack of a restaurant.

We loved our stay! We were just sorry we were only had one night there. Our room was great, the hotel was beautiful, and we particularly loved our breakfast in the morning! Thank you to the staff for the great food and service. We'll stay longer next time.

Staff were very helpful, polite and kind. The hotel and the surrounding property were very nice and the room was amazing.

Wonderful location. Bath needs make up. Bathtub with shower is not easy to handle for older people. Breakfast was good. Information at the warm dishes that eggs can be ordered at the table would be helpful. We we looking for the eggs. Bacon and beans were cold by the time the poached eggs arrived.
